The more I know HIM..

6th June 2011 (3:40 am)

" A thankful heart flows from a lifestyle of worship"- Kuya Dave (Chapel time). How true is that in my life? i also read :Jerry Bridges: "We cannot glorify God--either by our lives or by worship--unless we are enjoying Him" I want this to be my lifestyle. I want to enjoy everthing God has given and is giving me. I believe He really wants me to enjoy Him, His ministry. What Kuya Andrew (sponsor) said was so true " make disciples and have fun". God! how much i want to be joyful always, smile always and let myself and everyone else know that i am enjoying Him, who is my refuge, my strength, my shelter, my redeemer. I can do that, it seems so easy when i put my every concentration on Him, knowing that everything will work together for good to those who love Him. Amazing are the promises for those who love Him. The choice is mine/ours. I just can't reconcile with the fact that i choose other things most of the time rather than Him.
I know everything about God. I have been going to the Church ever since i was a kid. I know more now, as i am studying in a seminary, but i am so much deceived by this knowledge of God that i feel I don't concentrate much on them, instead i trust me more sometimes. Every small details of Him is so important. He being my refuge can mean so much to me, that i realize that i don't need more of Him. His little attention to me is more than enough for me to live my whole life. Wow! i need to be reminded of this every second of my life. This truth can change the way i live. My perspective of the whole world, and my self wil be changed, just by knowing that He is my refuge. What a huge God i have. No one can really know how powerful He is, but a glimpse of it, through our human perspective. (And i am writing this .... n in the process of changing, where HE wants me to be. I know i am not there yet, but i am not where i used to be also.. Praise be to God, who makes everything right and leads us to His righteousness, and fulfills His plans in our lives).
